Shino glazing with Connie Christensen

Shino glazing is a four weeks online class where students may are allowed to view the videos for six weeks.
Connie shares shino recipes and teaches how to get different colors during the glazing process.

She shows in detail how to pack a shino kiln and how to control the gas firing for best shino results.

This is a very stimulating class with interesting tests to see different combinations with shino glazing and combinations with celadon.

What do I need for this e-course?
  • You must have consistent access to a computer, iPad or IMac or related technology.
  • You must have basic computer knowledge. (Although we will assist you with the viewing of the videos, we cannot teach you how to use a computer).
  • You will need bisque pots ready for glazing.
  • You will need access to a gas kiln for the firing.
  • You will need materials for glazing shino.
What can I expect from the course?
  • Connie share shino recipes and teaches student how to manipulate the glaze to achieve a variation in colors.
