Glazing with Ron Roy
This class is open any time for registration.
Most of the class is diving into the chemical aspects of glazing and gives the student the know-how to understand pottery glazes and gives all the tools needed to create successful glazes.
Ron Roy, co-author of the book, Mastering Cone 6 Glazes, is considered as the Doctor of Ceramic Glazes.
He shares 60 years of research with his own recipes, diagrams, and more in a full PDF document with each of the online students. In this online glazing workshop, he explains and demonstrates how to use the glaze calculation program of Tony Hanson (DigitalFire Insight) and takes his students on a researching expedition into the wonderful world of ceramic colors. |
