Why does TeachinArt have online workshops?
The COVID-19 virus and epidemic that quarantined people all over the world and even closed schools, colleges and universities proved that online education is here to stay. Online teaching bring arts into the reach of every artist or craftsmen around the world.
Can art like ceramics really been taught online?
Our e-courses are similar to hands-on workshops. The only difference is that you get a compact version of the class in the form of videos. We remove all the repetitive actions in the videos and ensure that you will see every needed action in detail. Because you are in control of the videos, you can view it, practice the skills learned, review it again until you feel satisfied with the results.
What if I have questions?
Our teachers are all professional artists who enjoy teaching and who want to educate. They share their experience and knowledge without holding back important information. They will answer all questions during the class.
We share all the questions and answers from all the students with the registered students - the same way as all students normally get answers in hands-on workshops.
What is the format of the online classes?
Most of the classes are 6 weeks. It is a 5 day hands-on workshop that we extended into a 6 weeks online workshop. The videos are pre-recorded and edited with the artist to remove repetitive actions. The length of the videos are normally less than half-an-hour so that artists can practice what they learned.
What is an E-course?
It is a paid online workshop presented in similar way as a hands-on workshop.
Our e-classes are 2 way streets. Students get answers to their questions directly from the instructor and have the option to mingle with fellow students in the "Tearoom".
Who are the teachers/instructors of the workshops
All our instructors are professional artists who have many years of formal teaching experience.
Will I have access to the teacher during the class period?
During the course period, students have access to the instructors as they will normally have during a face-to-face workshop where they can get direct answers to their questions.
What is the format of the instructions?
The format of these e-learning classes are video demonstrations, PDF documents and other course materials that may be presented by the instructor. Videos show the finest details of each process - so unlike a workshop with many distractions, this class is without unwanted distractions and you have the best seat where you can see all the action from the front row.
Why is this e-course different from normal YouTube videos or video DVD's?
During the duration of the class, you will have full access to the teacher who will answer all your questions that you may have, and you will receive all the questions and answers of the other students.
Do I have to attend the course at a specific time and date?
The videos are available any time of the day during the registered period. There is unlimited viewing of videos allowed during the e-course period and students can pause the videos, rewind and replay the videos at their own pace.
Can I download the classes to watch again?
All the PDF documents and templates are downloadable and copyrighted for students. The videos will not be downloadable, but will stay open for registered students to review as often as they like until the end of the course.
Is there a limited time to watch the videos?
Classes are normally a 6 weeks active class plus an additional month of UNLIMITED viewing.
Can I work at my own time?
The answer is yes - you can work at your own place, at your own time. We have students from across the world already registered. Each one will log into the classroom at their own time.
