Connie is a professional ceramic artist from Denver, Colorado, with 26 years experience as a potter.  She took classes at Red Rocks Community College, Front Range Community College, the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities and also attended numerous workshops. She has more than 15 years of pottery teaching experience at the Arvada Center for Arts and Humanities, Art Students League of Denver, Westminster Rec Center, and she has also taught numerous workshops. Her extraordinary work was featured in four of the well known Lark Book selections as well as in The Art of Contemporary Pottery, Clay Times, Ceramics Monthly and Potterymaking Illustrated.

Her passion is for functional pots that you can hold and caress and that have meaning in your everyday life - coffee in the morning with a favorite mug, your hands familiar with every curve and ridge. Porcelain is her medium because it enhances the vibrancy and richness of the glazes.
In her own words, "What I want to create are pots that are graceful, alive and and that asked to be touched. I always wanted to be an artist and scientist and in working with clay and glazes, I find myself right where I want to be."
Connie has a studio at the Arvada Ceramic Arts Guild where she is also Artist in Residence.
